Connect the programme to its purpose and people
The goals of the incentive, participants’ expectations and the organisation’s values provide a starting point. Each element should support that brief, with activities suited to the group’s interests, profile and level of participation.
A memorable experience is not simply a packed schedule. Making space for shared moments as well as individual discovery and rest allows different guests to find their own meaning in the programme.
Coordinate the details early
Transport, accommodation, dining preferences, individual needs and communication all connect. Gathering information early makes the plan more practical and reduces uncertainty close to departure.
Give participants clear guidance, keep one current operational plan for the team and prepare alternatives for changes. This leaves organisers better placed to focus on the purpose of the experience.
